So much of him taken away that a minister was obliged to tie over a hundered pounds weight of SHOTT to him before he could navigate the voyage of life any farther. There is no longer a Miss SHOTT known thereabout now. The aim is good, and Mr. SPENCER is a better man than ever, while the heavy addition of SHOTT now consistutes the better half of himself. Mr. SPENCER is a capital fellow, and we congratulate hime upon his speedy recovery, and expect that half the young men in this county are nearly dead to be "shott" the same way. While attending a camp meeting held near Madison, IN, in the fall of 1838, he professed religion and joined the M.E. Church. A greater part of the 52 years spent in the Master's service he held the office of class leader.
