Biography

Wm H Spencer was enumerated as head of the household in Militia District 871 Lafayette village, Walker County, Georgia for the June 9, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a mechanic in leather and born February 1845 in South Carolina. He had been married for thirty-three years. Also included in the household are wife Caroline Spencer, son Gerome Spencer, son Geo F Spencer, daughter Agness E Spencer, son Lemmand L Spencer, son Elnathan E Spencer, son Ulysis E Spencer and brother Thos Casselberry as seen in an image of the original census.^[1]

William Henry Spencer is buried at Rock Spring Cemetery in Rock Spring, Walker County, Georgia, USA.^[2]
