Zachary Joel Spencer died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at his home.

He was born Sept. 13, 1979, in Lewiston. He grew up and lived in Clarkston. As a child, he was a member of the Clarkston Judo Club and participated in tournaments throughout the U.S. He enjoyed playing guitar and piano. One of the high points of his life was visiting family in Germany in 2008. His son was born in 2012 and Izaak brought a whole new dimension to Zach's life. His days were spent loving and caring for his son.

He is survived by his son, Izaak Spencer; and Izaak's mother, Stephany Maes; his father, Jeff and Cindy Spencer; his mother, Sandra Westrand; his siblings, William Napier and Angie Hall, Nathaniel and Alannah Spencer, Melanie and Robert Andresen, Doni and Mike SanFilippo; aunts and uncles Joan Zimmermann, Janice and Bob Elhindi, Keith Spencer, Robbin and Dan Weatherly; nieces and nephews Chaylynn Spencer, Javan Spencer, Justyn Trail, Brynn Ongstad, Heidi Spencer, Matthew Andresen, Elijah Andresen and Natalie Andresen; and many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Zach would've loved to have donations be made to the Asotin County Food Bank, and please do an act of kindness for someone.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Abundant Life Church, 1483 16th Ave., in Clarkston. Everyone is welcome to join us in remembrance of Zach. ^[1]
