William was baptised in March 1636-7 in Baldock, the son of Nicholas.
He may have married Mary Bonfield in 1669.
It is possible William died in 1684.
There was a marriage on 11 Apr 1669 at Baldock between a William Spicer and Mary Bonfield; not Elizabeth Bonfield [1]But the HALS Marriage Index at https://www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/ufs/ufsmain?ebz=1_1536444020014&ebd=0 describes William as Spencer rather than Spicer, but his wife's name is still Mary Bonfield rather than Elizabeth. Not clear if it was this William, although the date fits for children from 1672. See https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=R_859211313
There was a 2nd Nicholas, son of William, baptised in 1676 (not profiled as of January 2021): https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=R_963863315
There was a George Spicer in the village who had children from 1690. Not known what the connection to William is, if any. Presumably the George baptised in 1667, the son of George: https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=R_963859546
There was also an Elizabeth Spicer, born to Mary Spicer (no father named) in 1684: https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=R_963856712. Elizabeth died 1685: https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=GBPRS%2FD%2F72055551%2F1
However Mary Spicer had married a Richard Buttler in 1682: https://www.findmypast.co.uk/transcript?id=R_859211765%2F2
There were at least two other Spicer families in the 1650's, father's John and James (as well as a George).
