Biography
In the 1878 County History, Sarah Alena was referred to as Sarah A. In the Census for 1880, she is referred to as Alena. Therefore, I'm assuming that her name was Sarah Alena Spriggs. She was born in Illinois, on Sept. 20, 1872, as the middle daughter of James C. and Eleanor (Parkinson) Spriggs. She died after 1880.
