Biography
Christoph Louis I, Count Springer of Waldenburg was according to a publication by Moses C. Springer on the Springer Family, born in 1091, the son of Louis II 'the Springer', Landgrave of Thuringia.[1] However although Ludwig II 'der Springer, Landgraf von Thuringen did exist,[2]
a son by the name of Christoph Louis is not confirmed by any other independent source and he and his descendants for many generations are fabrications. See Category: Springer Family Fabrication.
