Sharon was born at Cape Canaveral, Florida. She became a high school teacher and taught at Columbus, Georgia; Sycamore, Pennsylvania; Cocoa, Florida; Jacksonville, Florida.
For many years she took an intense interest in her family tree and contributed greatly to discovering its details.
At time of her death she was enrolled in post-graduate studies at Richmond, Virginia. A newspaper obituary published at Rochester, New York, near where relatives lived:
"Spry, Sharon. Richmond, VA: Formerly of Penfield 4/4/1949 - 2/13/2015. Survived by Malcolm and Jean Spry of Myrtle Beach, formerly of Penfield. Sisters Shelley (Brian) Bauer and Mary Jane (Doug) Wilcox. Children Christian Martin, Ethan Josh Martin, Caja Kelly, and Caitlin Flynn. She lived a full life."
