David was born in 1893. He was the son of Thomas Spry and Charity Hatcher.[1][2] David Spry married Agnes Rubena Bleeze in 1919.[3] He passed away in 1970 and was buried in Ceduna Cemetery (section A, plot 19).[4][5]

David Spry (service number 2449) enlisted in the 10th Battalion, AIF on 23 March 1915 in Adelaide.[6]
