Elemuel Franklin Spurgeon was born in 1865^[1] in Ohio.

Lemuel F. Spurgeon, 25, married Anna L. Bennett, 22, in Defiance County, Ohio, on 21 July 1890, by license issued the same day. The ceremony was performed by Jacob Adams, J.P.^[2][3] in about 1891.^[4] Based on census and other records, Frank and Anna had at least the following children:
