• Bourbon County Kentucky Deed Book R, p 100-101, Samuel Booth and wife, Roda, to William Booth, November 13, 1823 $1.00 for100 acres in bend of Hinkson ......which land is to be held by the said Wm. as trustee for the following uses and purposes to wit. Out of the proceeds he is to support and maintain decently the said Samuel during his life and also to pay him the sum of twenty-five dollars per year during his lifetime---and also to give to the said Roda the use and possession of the house in which the said Roda now lives ; and also the cleared land attached thereto for the time and space of twenty-five years; and as much firewood as she may need during the said term; and timber to keep the house and fences in repair and at her death if she should not live during that term she is by will to direct who shall possess the same.
