David Spurlock (John ) was born in 1767.[1]

David married Hannah Flowers daughter of Thomas Flowers and Prudence Pusey on 19 Jan 1786. Hannah was born about 1770 in of Botetourt Co., Virginia.

This following entry was from Annals of Southwest Virginia 1769-1800 by Summers -
Dec. 1, 1794 "David Spurlock was appointed overseer of the road from the Merry Fork of Greasy Creek to the Grayson Line." (George Hancock was mentioned in the same record; probably Susanna's uncle)

On a list of Kentucky Militia, "Commissioned Officers, 1799-1804" was "David Spurlock, Lieutenant, 56th Regiment."
