Note N2711Bea Swett of Eagle River died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Lillian E. Kerr
Nursing Home. She was 86. Mrs. Swett was born July 31, 1914, in
Manitowoc. She taught Sunday school for many years and enjoyed knitting
and sewing. She was a lifelong resident of Eagle River and was a member
of Community Bible Church and Eagle River Memorial Hospital Auxiliary f
many years. Mrs. Swett was preceded in death by her first husband, Ray
Swett; her second husband, Mac Swett; her brother, Robert Squires; and
grandson, Don Swett. Survivors include two daughters, Margaret (Richard)
Heitmann and Mary (Jim) Ritzer of Eagle River; four sons, Robert (Pa
Rhinelander, Lee (Marion) of Keshena, Ralph (Betty) of Wakefield, Mich.,
and Kenneth (Judy) of Milwaukee; a brother, Donald (Bev) Squires of
Largo, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five
great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services with visitation were held
Saturday, March 24, at Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River, with
the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial was at Eagle River Cemete
