He was noted as born 1839 in South Carolina as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Chester Stacy, female Pe? Stacy, female Mary Stacy, male Samuel Stacy, male Richardson Stacy, male James Stacy, male Isaac Stacy and male John Stacy.[1]
William Stacy was enumerated at Post Office Grassy Pond, Northern Division, Spartanburg County, South Carolina for the August 21, United States Census, 1860. He was noted as a farm laborer and born 1840 in South Carolina. He was marked as having attended school within the last year as seen in the image of the original census.
