Biography
James Stalnaker was born in Appalachia, in Virginia.
James Stalnaker was born about 1806[1] or 1804[2] in Virginia.
He married Elizabeth Nipton (Neptune?) in 1824 in Randolph County, Virginia.[3] If the children listed in the 1850 and 1860 censuses are theirs, James and Elizabeth had several children.[1][2]
On May 28, 1868, James married C. Rosenberg in Barbour County, West Virginia.[4] Mary C. and James had one son, Daniel.[5][6][7]
