Quoted from Stanley Genealogy Publication

"Moses Standley, son of William Standley (1720) and wife Judith Hanna, was b. abt 1754 in Orange Co, Va.; d. abt 1795 in Henry Co.; md. abt 1773 prob. in Henry Co. prob. to Elizabeth Byrd(Mary?), b. abt 1756; d. unknown.
  • Children (Standley)—(b. in Henry or Franklin Co, Va.):
  1. MOSES, b. 1775; md. JANE WARREN.
  2. RICHARD, b. abt 1777; md. ELIZABETH WARREN.
  3. ELIZABETH (poss. dau.), b. abt 1779; md. 29 Oct 1795 in Franklin Co. to ROLAND MAJORS. This marriage is also given as occurring in Bedford Co, Va, on (bond) 16 Oct 1795, by consent of Elizabeth herself and with William Hix surety on the marriage bond (C2a). Was this the same Roland Major who was in Campbell Co, Tenn, 25 years later? Might Elizabeth have actually been the widow of Moses Standley (1754) and the mother of his 6 sons? These speculations may be worth further investigation.
  4. JOHN (prob. son), b. abt 1781; md. FRANKY WARREN.
  5. JOSEPH, b. 1785; md. NAOMI.

Stanley-13735 and Stanley-631 appear to represent the same person because: The death date of 1795 given on a DAR record is obviously incorrect. See the sources and detail on Stanley-13735
