Mrs. F. G. (sic) Clem, who died last week at Waukon, 107 years old, is said to have been the oldest woman in Iowa. She was born in Indiana when the star of Napoleon was in its ascendancy, three years before the war of 1812, and her life spanned almost ail the wonderful developments of the nineteenth century. She was the mother of nine children; six of them and the husband preceded her to the grave.
