Biography
Joseph Stanley, 4th child of Elijah Stanley and Hannah Mills was born 12th month 4, 1774; died 8th month 24, 1840. Married Oct. 6, 1803, at Deep River MM, NC, to Phebe Rich, born 9th month 19, 1769, died Mar. 17, 1849, daughter of Samuel & Dinah Rich. They had 5 children:
