Biography

Sarah Stansbury was born March 7, 1739. in Baltimore county, Maryland. Sarah was christened at St Paul Protestant Episcopal Church, in Baltimore, Baltimore county, a daughter of Thomas Stansbury, Jr. and Hannah Gorsuch. [1] Sarah died April 3, 1815, in Baltimore City. [2]

In 1760, in Baltimore, Sarah married John Lemmon, born November 6, 1740, in Baltimore county, Maryland. John was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War, and DAR Ancestor A069547. Applications for membership in the Society have been made by their descendants. [3]
