Biography
Adam Starcher, a son of Philip and Rebecca (Mace) Starcher, was born in Harrison County, VA (WV) on December 25, 1808 and died in Calhoun County, WV on February 8, 1881. He married Phoebe Coger on August 28, 1828 in Kanawha County, VA (now Calhoun County, WV). Phoebe was a daughter of Peter and Mary (McElwain) Coger.
