Pearl Adson Starkey was born April 4, 1882 in Minnesota. He was the son of John Starkey and Mary Dyer.
He was raised in Bethel, Anoka, Minnesota,

He married Kittie L___ in 1908[4] in Anoka, Minnesota. They had no Children.
Perl and Kittie lived in Duluth, St Louis, Minnesota in 1910, where he was a Polisher for an Iron Works and His wife Katie, (26) was a Home Maker.[4]
Perl registered for the WWI Draft at age 36, giving his birth as April 4, 1882. He was Married, working as an Elector Plater, for Jacob Andresen Co., and gave a Physical discription of Medium Height and build, with Brown Eyes and Dark Brown Hair.[5]
He worked for the Electric Company in 1920, as an Electric plater in Duluth, St Louis, Minnesota.[6]
He went west to Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California between 1920 and 1930.
In 1930, they were living in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, on 12, Avenue, where he was an Electric Plater for a Fixture Company.[7]
He died on October 17, 1957, at the age of 75, in Los Angeles, California.[8]
