He was the son of Arthur Starkey.[1] Laurence the son of Arthure Starkie was baptised at Wybunbury, Cheshire, England, on 19 March, 1577 [now 1578].[2]
Laurance Starkey, gent, married Marie Massey at Wrenbury, Cheshire, in January, 1602.[3]
Lawrance Starkey, esq, was buried in Wrenbury Church, Cheshire, on 8 December, 1611.[1][4]
In the chancel of Wrenbury Church was a wooden tablet with the arms and crest of Starkey, inscribed:[1]
