Rachel Starkey was the daughter of John Starkey and Sarah Price. She was born circa 1730, in Monmouth, New Jersey, and passed away before 1793, in Chatham, North Carolina.
On August 1, 1757, in Burlington, New Jersey, Rachel married Peter Quakenbush,[1] possibly the son of Jacob Quakenbush/Quackenbush married to Anna Elizabeth Brouwer. Peter died in North Carolina, after 1793 when he made out a Will.

John W. Quackenbush, born 1759, died 1852, married Mary Holladay

Peter Quacenbush, Jr. born 1765, died 1853
Rachel Quackenbush, born 1767, named for her mother
