Biography

Jane Staton was born on January 1, 1814, in Freeburn, Kentucky, to Hannah Lester and Charles N. Staton.^[1]

On January 21, 1833, in Pike County, Kentucky, Jane married Bird Lockhart.^[2]

Jane passed away on January 1,1906, in McDowell County, West Virginia, and is buried in Trent Cemetery in Longpole.^[1]
