Biography

Jacob is the son of Franklin Stauffer and Rillie Burkholder. ^[1]

Jacob grew up in Farmersville, Pennsylvania.

He went to school at Farmersville,West Earl HS.and Franklin and Marshell College,and Elizabethtown College his degree was in Electrical Engineering.

Jacob worked for Conestoga Transportation and PP&L.(Pennsylvania. Power and lLght). Jacob married Mary Brown Wolf^[2] and raised 7 children.After Marys death he re married Minerva S Kitch a widow who lived a few doors up on Main St. in Brownstown.After rejecting the Christian faith of his parents for most of his life Jacob came to faith and joined the Ebenezer Evan. Cong. Church in Brownstown and even prepared and taught classes. Some of the things most important to Jacob included fishing,traveling,bird watching,photography,Family get togethers and picnics at the Stauffer Farm with his children,then the whole gang at the house.When the family grew to large for that,reunions were held a the West Earl Fire House or at the park on the Conestoga River.

It was 1987 when Jacob passed away from old age. ^[3]. He was buried at the Brownstown cemetery. ^[4]
