According to this link you provided in the references, he was not born in Germany, but rather in Lancaster Co, Penna, with a grandfather Abraham born in Germany. I'll give you the merge with Stauffer-600, but I would double check the birthplace. Since they have the same name and wife, and I know very little about him.
