Biography

Samuel Stearns of Worcester was born about 1720. He first married Jemima Hoyt of Monadnock, New Hampshire, by whom he had 4 children. He married second in 1762 Sarah Grover of Grafton. They had six children. He died of pleurisy 17 March 1776. His estate was administered by his widow Sarah 9 April 1777.[1]
