Biography

Paul Stearns, married first Grace Washburn, who died after the birth of their first child Charles; married 2nd Lucy Kneeland, and their daughter Grace, born in 1806; married Almon Davis and died in 1863, leaving no children. (p. 154)

Ezekiel Davis was one of the early settlers of Reading, Vermont and raised eleven children, including Almon who married Almira (sic), Pratt, Semira Pratt and Grace Stearns . (p. 128) ^[1]

Almond Davis, b. March 24, 1799 was thrice married; first to Semira Pratt, March 18 1823; m. second, Susan Pratt Feb. 18, 1832; and after her death he m. third Grace Stearns. He d. Sept. 30, 1855. (p. 379) ^[2]

Grace Stearns b. Oct. 4, 1806; m. Almon Davis of Reading, VT, where she d. Aug. 4, 1863; no children. (p. 138) ^[3]
