Biography
Charles Edgar Stearns was born on January 29, 1863, in Colorado to Byron Horace and Mary Louisa (Eaves) Stearns. He married Katherine Hannah Borum on May 29, 1890 in Harlan County, Nebraska. They adopted a daughter, Thelma Gertrude (1900-1975). He was a barber. He died on July 20, 1949, in Phillipsburg, Kansas at the age of 86, and was buried in Fairview Cemetery in Phillipsburg, Kansas.
