Biography

Mary Stebbins, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Wright Stebbins of Northampton, Massachusetts, was born there on 24 Dec 1705. She married Ensign Noah Strong at Northampton on 16 May 1735. She died 17 Mar 1771; Noah died 4 Jun 1783. ^[1]

1. Lt. Noah Strong, Jr., born 2 Jul 1736; married Hannah Searle; removed to Westhampton, where they were among first settlers; he died there 3 Aug 1819.
2. Amasa Strong, baptized 24 Sep 1738; died 24 Jan 1739.
3. Eliphaz Strong, born 20 Feb 1739/40; married Naomi Clark 31 Dec 1772; had one child who died in infancy; Eliphaz died 15 Dec 1774.
4. Eunice Strong, born 5 Dec 1741; died Jan 1743.
5. Daniel Strong, aka "Dub Strong", born 1749/50; was a drum major in the Revolutionary War; married Tryphosa Bush 5 Nov 1781; Northampton blacksmith and farmer; died 2 Feb 1805.
