Biography
Mary was born in 1867 in Marseilles, La Salle county, Illinois. She was the daughter of Nelson Stedman and Harriet Read.
She was living with her parents and siblings at Grand Rapids township, La Salle, Illinois in 1870.[1]
She moved with them to Pella township, Ford county, Illinois. They were there in 1880.[2]
She married Louis Stofferan on 01 Sep 1890 in Livingston county, Illinois.[3] They had one son - Paul Stofferan. Paul died young.
She passed away in 1894 in Cook county, Illinois. [4] She is buried in Graceland cemetery in Chicago.[5]
