Biography

David Steele, son of Robert Steele and Rebecca Oury, born about 1795 in Virginia, was married to Martha Mattie Peery on 3 December 1816 in Tazewell, Virginia, United States.[1][2] [3][4]

David was in enumerated in the 1820 Census.[5]

David Steele and Martha Peery are mentioned in the book, "The Peery Genealogy."[6]

David was named in the will of his father Robert Steele, 1821.[7]

David was in enumerated in the 1830 Census.[8]

David and wife Martha, and David's siblings appeared on a deed in 1838, Wythe County, Virginia.[9]

David was in enumerated in the 1840 Census in Tazewell County Virginia.[10][11]
