Biography

William was born 18 December 1666 in Marshfield. He was the son of Edward Stephens and Hannah Sherman.^[1][2]

He married Hannah,^[3] whose maiden name may have been Tilden, but proof is lacking. They were married by 1692 when their first child was born.^[4][5][6]
