- When Delilah Stephens was born in 1805 in Georgia, her father, John, was 51, and her mother, Mary, was 49.
- She married Giles Thomas Loftin in 1817 in her hometown.
- They had 12 children in 38 years.
- She died in 1862 in Stephenville, Texas, at the age of 57, and was buried in Somervelle, Texas.
