Henry Stephenson was born May 20, 1912.^[1]

Grady Stephenson was enumerated as son of the head of household at Simpkins, Militia District 0531, DeKalb County, Georgia for the April 4, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1913 in Georgia and single. H was a laborer at a spring factory as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John A Stephenson, wife Odie Stephenson, son Clyde Stephenson, daughter Mary Stephenson, son John A Stephenson, daughter Nancy Stephenson, daughter Sarah Stephenson, son Louis Stephenson and boarder Hoyt Brantley.^[3]
