Biography
Mary Ann Stephenson was born in about 1833 in England, United Kingdom.[1] Her parents are not yet known.
Mary Ann married Richard Flowers. They had eight children, all born in Canada.
In 1861 Mary Ann (age about 28) was living in Moulton, Haldimand, Canada West. She was living with her husband Richard (age 35, tailor, born England) and three children: Alice (age 5), Elizabeth (age 3), and Mary (age 1) in a 1.5 storey frame house.[1][2]
In the 1871 census Mary Ann (age about 38) was living in Dunnville, Haldimand, Ontario, Canada with her husband Richard (age 44) and six children (age 0-15 years): Alice, Elizabeth, Mary, Elloner (Eleanor), Annie and John.[3][4]
Mary Ann passed away sometime after the birth of her youngest child Albert and before the 1881 census in Dunnville, Haldimand, Ontario, Canada.
