Biography

Alexander Cicero Stevenson was born in 1800 in Pendleton, Anderson, South Carolina, USA to George Washington Stephenson and Margaret Johnson Stevenson, Alexander had numerous siblings: Mary Polly Stephenson Watson 1783-1862, James Samuel Stevenson 1784-1872, John James Stevenson 1798-1893, Sarah Anne Stephenson Foster 1803-1876 and George Alexander Stephenson 1812-1891. Notice that the spellings of Stephenson and Stevenson are used interchangeably.

At the age of 78, Alexander passed away in Dike, Hopkins County, Texas, USA. He was buried at Connor Cemetery, Dike, Hopkins County, Texas, USA.
