Emma was born Emma Murgitroyd in 1816 Kippax, Yorkshire and baptised Emma Murgitroyd in Octoberr 1816 Kippax, St. Mary, Yorkshire the daughter of John Murgitroyd (labourer) & Mary of Kippax. [1] [2]
