The estate also housed a huge swimming pool which held a million gallons of water and connected to a stream, smaller pools, and a waterfall - all of which accommodated not only swimmers, but the family’s rowboat. One of G. Henry’s wives, Sybilla, remembers stocking the pool and fishing in it during World War II when supplies to clean the pool were scarce.[11]
