Biography
Hiram was born about 1840. He is the son of Hiram Stevens and Narcissa Ashfield.
At the time of the 1850 US Census, head of household Hiram Stephens (age 41, born in Georgia) was employed as a Farmer and living on real estate valued at $700 in Gwinett County, Gwinnett, Georgia, with his wife, Sarahsa Stephens (age 32), son James C. Stephens (age 8) and son Hiram B. Stephens (age 10). [1]
