William (known as Linn on his only U.S. Census record in 1880)[1] was born in 1878 in Williamstown, Massachusetts; the seventh of ten children. He was the son of Almon Stevens and Frances Jenks.[2].
William died at the age of 3 from scarlet fever.[3]
