Stiles and Olive had 6 children, Edward M. (1857-1902), Charles (1863), Clara B. (1865), Alba (1873), Stiles W. (1875), and George J. (1880). CONT CONT Polly died October 18, 1901, William died July 1, 1880, Stiles died 1894, Olive died 1905, and Edward M. died 1902. All are buried in Canaan Valley Cemetery. CONT CONT Letter from Mrs. Roger Pratt to J. Knecht: CONT CONT In a diary which was written by my great aunt Mary Emmons I found the following notes: CONT CONT October 1901: CONT Mrs. Polly Steven's died at her home at Mrs. Olive Steven's in the valley, aged over 90 years. She had been confined to her bed for some time. CONT CONT February 1902: CONT Edward Steven's, son of the late Stiles Steven's, died at William Hart's, where he had lived for some time. The funeral was held at Mrs. Olive Steven's. He was aged nearly 45 Years. (Polly had a sister Huldah Richardson who married a Henry Hart, any connection)? CONT CONT Regards, CONT John
