Biography
This marriage ended abruptly with Jane Dianna Newman running away from violence. Captain Moriaty taking stenens to his property in Westbury where he died
Appears Stephen Stevens was a rather violent man and their marriage was brief as Jane Diana ran away! She Joined her Friend Ann( Mason) Rodman who had been unwell after the birth of her 3 rd child. Jane Later marrying Jonah Rodman Ann's husband in 1854 after her death.
