Biography
Thomas was a son of Thomas and Mary Stevens, born 14 April 1665 at Sudbury, Massachusetts.[1]
The will of his mother's brother John Green, dated 4 September 1688, bequeathed his real estate to "my loving sister Mary Stevens wife of Thomas Stevens senior of Stow," and after her death to her son John Stevens. It also included bequests of 5 pounds each to "my three kinsmen Thomas Stevens, Cyprian Stevens, and Jacob Stevens," to be paid them by their father Thomas Stevens.[2]
In 1698, Thomas and his wife Ruth of Stow conveyed for consideration his dwelling house and land that he had purchased from his father, back to his father, Thomas Stevens, and his brother Jacob Stevens.[3]
