Biography

SARAH STEVENS, b. 28 Oct 1681 daughter of Ephraim and Sarah (Abbott) Stevens;[1] Sarah d. at Andover, 28 Dec 1750;[2] m. 22 Jul 1708, her first cousin, STEPHEN ABBOT, b. at Andover, 16 Mar 1678 son of John and Sarah (Barker) Abbott; Stephen d. at Andover, 27 May 1766.

From The Essex Antiquarian, p. 38:
Stephen Abbot, born in Andover Jan. 14, 1678-9. He is called in the records of deeds, first, a wheelwright, then yeoman, and, later, miller. He lived in Andover where Professor Porter resided. He married Sarah Stevens July 22, 1708, and she died Dec. 28, 1750, aged sixty-nine. He died May 27, 1766.
