From the Stevenson family research records of Kidd-353, Margaret was born 30 June 1851 in Rossvile, Chester County South Carolina. and was baptized on 4 Oct 1851. [1]. She was the last child of Elizabeth McCullough d 1854 [McCullough-1068] and Daniel Robertson Stevenson [Stevenson-1877| Elizabeth died likely of Tuberculosis. Elizabeth's first husband Muscoe Boulware [Boulware-81] died 11 May 1832 of "consumption" and as she lived another 22 years, he is the likely source of her infection. Consumption or Tuberculosis [TB] was a common cause of death in the 19th Century.

[3] - Mrs. Margaret Russell, widow of A. H. Russell, died suddenly at her home in Fort Lawn Wednesday evening and was buried yesterday afternoon. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E. Z. James. Mrs. Russell was about 65 years of age and is survived by three daughters, Mrs. John C. [G.] Cousar, Mrs. William Stoll and Mrs. Groom. She was an earnest member of the Methodist church.
