Margaret Hannah was born in Gateshead, Durham, England, on November 28, 1889.[1] Her birth was registered in the first quarter 1890 in Gateshead. She was the daughter of Thomas Stevenson and Elizabeth J Davidson. She was baptized on December 15, 1889, in Gateshead, at Holy Trinity.[2] Margaret was enumerated in the 1891 census [3] as a one year old residing with her parents and four siblings on Abbott Street, Gateshead. In 1901, [4] she was one of four children, ages seventeen to four, residing with her parents in Gateshead.
