In the 1861 census Jane Warden (age 60) was the widowed head of household in Howard Place, St Cuthbert's, St Andrew, Midlothian, Scotland.[5]
Jane Warden's death was registered in 1864 in the St Andrew (Edinburgh) district.[6]
