When Otis was a kid his appendix ruptured and Dr. Holzer came to the house and saved his life by operating on him on the kitchen table, but he had complications several years after that and grandpa Willie and Josie took him to Columbus where they found a knife that Dr. Holzer had left inside him. They refused to sue because he had saved Otis's life.
