Lady Mary Stewart was born in 1647 in Blackhall, Renfrewshire, Scotland, her father, Johne, was 33, and her mother, Mary, was 25. She married Alexander Cunningham in 1665. They had four children in 19 years. She died on May 7, 1683, in Stewarton, Ayrshire, Scotland, at the age of 36.
