William Stewart is a member of Clan Stewart.

William is the son of Charles and Margaret (Deneal) Stewart. He married Mary, daughter of Adam and Susannah (Greathouse) Parsons on 26 Mar 1828. He arrived in Mason County in 1846. Their children are:

Hi Ron,

Saundra Stewart (Stewart-213) changed the birth place from Monongalia, Virginia, to Monongahela, Pennsylvania and added some additional information back in December of 2017. You might check with her as to why she believed it to be PA. For now I'm changing it back to Monongalia, Virginia but marking it as "Uncertain" since your information could place him in Jackson County. - Dave

All census records indicate birth in Virginia -- not Pennsylvania. The Kanawha Valley source suggests Jackson County, VA (now West Virginia), and his FATHER was the one born in Monongahela County, PA. Also, the statement of arriving in Mason County in 1848 appears to conflict with 1828 marriage record in that county.
